Anyone else hitting it tomorrow. My mate Hammo twisted the arm and we are out there, hopefully wider than usual.

Caught some squid today - so tomorrow will use the squid off cuts to hopefully find and catch a few plump sand whiting or a couple of king george whiting.
I'll be happy with them cooking in the pan for dinner!

Yep, finished work today and while driving home I'm thinking about an early start and got all excited.
I then pulled into the driveway and noticed a flat tyre on the trailer.....bugger.
Tried to pump it up but the compressor hose blew in half.....tried to fix that but it's time for a new one as it has gone to brittle to repair.
So now I will be waiting at the tyre place for when it opens, get the repair done and out mid morning.
Can't wait as it's been months since I have been out due to either work commitments, bad weather or boat repair dramas.
Tomorrow is the day

hahaha yea that thought did cross my mind.
However after looking at the weather and all the crap I have had to fix to get the boat back to a sea worthy state after some dodgy work I will be playing it safe and a mid morning start is looking like the best option.
Must be getting more sensible with age .....I never thought that would happen.!!
Will be launching at Peron around 9am I recon

Taking half a day off to get on the water today.
I'm a real novice so hoping to get some advice, trying to get some KGs anyone with tips on where to try in the sound? I'm thinking of heading west of the power station before the channel markers or Parmelia bank west of Ammo jetty towards Garden Island.
