wilson inlet fishing advice

hey guys, im heading down to denmark on boxing day for a week with family and have no clue as to where in the inlet to fish. Dont want to go out into ocean. Taking 4.2m Tinny and 2 kayaks. Staying at rivermouth caravan park which supposedly has a boat ramp at it. Im after any advice i can get about fishing wilson inlet and any general areas in there that would get me onto some nice fish like kgs, whiting, flathead or any other fish. Mainly after smallish stuff. Does the charter still operate there? if so, does anyone have a contact for them ? thanks guys

Hi Rocktron
The Wilson is fishing well at the moment for KG's and other bits (even pinkies up to 70cm). Try up around potty shot and even closer to the mouth. John runs Madfish Charters and is already getting a few bookings so it would pay to give him a ring sooner than later. His number is (08) 9848 2055.

thanks Stu, ive jsut left a msg woth madfish charters. im considering leaving the tinny home and taking just the kayaks and going on the charter for one day. would some of these areas near the mouth be accessible via kayak and what sort of depths?
