Xzoga Field Testing Day

G'Day

Was lucky enough to product test a range of Xzoga rods today out at the barges behind rotto!

These rods are simply AMAZING.

For PE1 through to PE12 they have you covered.

Either the 99% graphite Takadum TAKA-G blank or the Takadum TAKA-U (Eglass composite) you have to choose from.

I really dislike rods that have way too much backbone and almost rip your spine out of place when you are fighting a big fish, but these rods have next to no strain on the back and still the right taper to work the Jig properly.

They really do mean it when they say "when dreams become reality".

I would like to put out a massive thankyou to David from Xzoga and the rest of the Lemax and Xzoga crew for giving me the oppurtunity the test out these rods.

Also for Craig and Mitch from Saltwater Charters WA for putting us on the fish all day and providing gourmet breakky and lunch (only charter i know that does have amazing food and FRESH) and cold drinks. I would highly recommend Craig for any charter out of Perth and the Abrohlos simply because he knows what he is doing!

Here's a couple of shots from the day. Oh yeh lets just say the sambos were firing! bring on Jiggy Jig 08/09!!!

Its hard work

Thu, 2008-12-04 19:43

Some of the malay boys were nearly pulled over the side on some occasions...

Their were another 4 people hooked up behind those two in the pic..

I wanted to get a couple of good shots of the action, i got 2 good ones but i'll save them for later..

the boat landed close to 50 sambos for the day i reckon.

Sam

What size do these rods go down to?
What sort of prices? 5 to 8 kilo?

Currently the tackle shack is the only stockist of the whole xzoga rod range, no where else in perth can you purchase one of these rods, so any enquires are thru us only, if any other country stores are interested in stocking any of them they can contact me.
