yamaha 40h fwd controls HELP

After a recent refit im hoping to get her on the water this week but cant figure out how all this wiring was arranged in the fwd control. If anyone has experience with these, any advice would be appreciated.

It does run and tilt but how the wires were arranged to sit inside the unit is baffling me atm. From memory not all were in side.

If anyone has a 98 yamaha 40 i could look at south of the river it would be appreciated.

wires

all those wires do fit inside the control box, except the gauge wiring harness which is the red, black, yellow and green. pain in the arse to get them all back in, they are a very tight fit. all wires look like they are connected up. they are colour coded anyway. just takes some time to arrange them so the cover will go back on. were you just removing the control cables? if so the whole back cover did not have to come off.
Just dont crimp any wires when screwing the back cover back on.
