ANOTHER DAY WITH JODY

ANOTHER DAY WITH JODY

Well we all sh%$#& the bed on Sunday and hit the water at around 4.45 .We were surprised to see someone had beaten us to the ramp, and were already in the water. My name is Wazza the guy said {good to meet another fishwrecked member} so after the introductions were finish with we got under way .The plan was to get out wide before sun up. We stop at a patch I hadn't fished for year to see a nice school of fish light up the sounder, on with the bait and down we went .I hadn't even hit the bottom and Jody was on, after a good struggle and some tied arms the first fish hit the surface, SAMBO about 15kg, and the other hook missing .No wonder Jody was puffing. Next drift and on again a triple hook-up Jesse soon dropped his fish and sat back to watch Jody and I struggle with our fish. Soon the braid had criss crossed and I had visions of losing both fish. With a few under and over’s we were free. Then up popped another sambo and then up popped a nice 13.5 kg dhuie. Nice surprise. Anyway back for another drift.  The school had broken up due to the loss of a couple of fish, but we gave it one more drift, and Jody this time nailed a nice 13kg dhuie. Time to move on. After a couple off dud patches we hit the dhuie lump. Jody and I were having a great time giving Jesse heaps, as he still had not caught a fish. Jody was on again then Jesse was on I missed my hit so pulled up and watched to see Jody land a nice 9kg dhuie. Jesse was still struggling with his fish so we unhooked Jody’s fish, Jesse called I’ve got colour, and there it was a nice 16.5 kg dhuie hit the surface. Well Jody and I just looked at each other as we knew we were in for a bagging as Jesse now had the big one safely on board and was giving it to us with both barrels. Any way the day was a good one with many fish caught and released. We finished the day with 4x dhuies 1x snapper and 2x baldies and released around a dozen fish.  Well that ends ANOTHER DAY WITH JODY

Thanks Jody an enjoyable day with a few laughs, look forward to the next one.

Cheers Paul and Jesse

Yes lot of fun. Seemed to be alot of bait fish inside the bank ,as we were getting snook and skippy out off the clouds of fish, some schools had good fish on and others nothing.
