I'm cruel, making you guys feel bad is almost as good as fishing in itself. :D
I had to work yesterday while every man and his dog was out there pulling in good fish in beautiful conditions.

Guess what, theres going to be more pics of beautiful conditions posted today. It is absolutely sensational here this morning, not a breath of wind and I can just see the gulf as the sun is rising and it looks like the water just doesn't end. Tis rather magic!

No doubt about it
Adam - no doubt about it - you have a sadistic streak in you . Goatch you bring the whip, I'll bring the Mount Barker stones. . Andy if Adam keeps this up, we'll have to ban HIM.
That would be a first on ANY fishing forum.

Something to show for it
Let's hope you've got something to show for it then Adam. True, I love catching spangles but for that boat, in that location and in those conditions, well IMO a few spangles aint a lot to show for it. Pull your finger out mate.

Nice try at getting a bite BJ. You've done well thou, the only reason there wasn't a billfish or decent fish posted was because we hired a bluewater boat hire boat for the day and had it over heat every time we were trolling between 5-10 knots. Della the new owner of Bluewater boat hire didn't charge us for the day, based upon the fact we could have cooked his engine as it was near boiling point a couple of times. Mind you, it was a blessing in disguise as the north wester blew in hard just after we cracked the shits and saved us a long and slow trip home. :)

Thrashed
It's amazing how many people talk about how shite their experience has been with those hire boats. Has anyone on here ever had a good experience with one?
Take the tinnie out mate, no probs with that.

Yep, I know. Had a few extras so it was going to be a bit crammed.
As for the bluewater boats, apparently they are under going a full refit. Della the new owner was very good with giving us a full refund for yesterday. Must admit that they ride horribly in sloppy conditions, certainly not my cup of tea.
