Crabs for tea

Went out today and got a good haul of crabs north of Cockburn Sound. Nice big ones and nearly all full. Somebody has already cooked them and is dribbling till tea time. Beautifull out there today. But two things really peeved us off. We where they only ones around then next minute boat comnings roaring in about 10meters away from us and started dropping crab pots, grrrrr from Bob and a few more swear words. Just started second pull and next minute there are two old guys plonking pots 10 meters away from grrrrr. we really couldn't move if we didn't get any on a pull why do they do it?

simple answer to thats is arrogance and incosiderate people its like when you are fishing down the beach and you cant see another car to the left or the right of you the beach is deserted then the next thing you know someone pulls up and fishes 20 meters away from you. very annoying

crabs!
Good to see you both got a feed Roberta. That area has been worked hard for the last 8 weeks so many boatys are pushy pushy. Nothing like getting North Moled (as i call it) in a boat!

Bob had 4 for tea and they are really full even the smaller ones were full, he loves them dunked in vinegar slap them on buttered bread and have a sandwich out of them, I had one, not great lover of crabs but he steams them & very nice, I can't eat them boiled but steamed so sweet.
