Hapuka don't get barotrauma
Hapuka don't get barotrauma like the Bass Grouper or Grey-barred cod, and they fight all the way to the top, but like a wet sock!

Good work Scott
few tasty feeds there. No biggens though? Any big bustoffs?
Jordan, it's all relative mate. Reeling in Harpuka from 200m+ is alot different than Pinkies from 15m. Yes they do go hard but it's more surges and headshakes than big runs. Anything under 15kg from 200m+ is a pretty easy battle considering the gear used.

the smaller puka are
definatly better to eat than the bigger ones from up here ,white flesh and not chewy at all like the bigger ones, but the reds are still my favourate out of that lot
