Addictive

I can certainly see how the thrill of the hunt could become quite addictive. Got a nice bluebone as well so I was wrapped with two shots for two fish.

Spearfishing

G'day John nice Corally ya got there. John do you find it hard to judge the size of fish underwater I know I did they look huge looking through goggles.I'm a bit reluctant to dip my toe in the water down here its cold and the fear of White Pointers the Shark variety.

FISHING IS MY ADDICTION

Size

Certainly can be deceptive Kev. These fish (also got a bluebone) are the first fish I've ever speared. I thought the bluebone was about 55cm before I shot him and he ended up being 49cm. After that first one, I saw the trout, thought he's about 60cm and he ended up being 59cm.

Got buzzed by 6 medium to medium/big GT's, which was good. I know where to start chucking some dumbbells now.

Alternative

It's a good alternative Ryan when looking for crays. Certainly topped off a nice bag after we'd previously been fishing in the morning.:)

You must have been very pleased with that John. Used to spearfish as a youngster - a magic world down there!

"I was wrapped with two shots for two fish"

Had to be the colour co-ordination BJ.  The RA would blend in well with that top.

Nice trout.

Cheers Pete

I'd like to tell you it was all skill but I'd be severely exaggerating.:)
