I had a similar one at north mole a couple of weeks ago. Im guessing mine was a big ray by the constant way it fought. Every time I tightened the drag, I stopped it for a few seconds and then it just took off faster again. 300m of 10kg line did not last long with that one.
that was a once of occurence cos i cbfed tying a new rig after being busted off..... and a pinkie decides to take the bait hahahhaha. that was an insane night though lol
Above the first platform. and if i want to catch a sambo off there i bring out the cord line :p. I have only landed one sambo on that same outfit it came close to 13-14 kg. i came down one day after school to find a school of them there. Also where is the fun in skull dragging fish in. my tld 15 holds over 400meters of 50lb suffix. i dont need anything bigger.
