The marlin still aren't playing the game and the fish were shut down on the inside, decided on another feed of goldband, they're just tooooo tasty!

My bro was down in winderabandi pt for school holidays and they did really well on the rosy jobfish but I don't think they fished deep enough for goldbands.

Nah mate

No rosy's, 8 goldies off 6 drops and not one bit of bycatch.  Only other thing I have got off the spot is long spined snapper and a coupla robbo's, just seems to be these guys or nothing (not complaining though) :)

bout 130m

Thu, 2009-07-23 19:32

About 130m, takes usually 1.5mins to hit the bottom with a 20 ounce.  Don't know how the 300-500m Perthies do it!!

Goldies!

Nice goldies Adam, some descent fillets coming of them!

The deepwater fishing makes anything under 200m feel shallow ha ha Laughing
