Hello opsrey, catching my first mulloway was a good time out. I hooked him on a live trumpeter that I caught while bream fishing. Live bait was sitting out for 2 hours or so before he started nibbling. I was fishing the in coming tide too. Pulled in 50 plus bream, ranging from 7cm to 36. All bream caught on river prawns, even caught a few live prawns in scoop net(best bream bait ever) The river was alive with fish jumping out of the water that night, never seen that much action in the water ever. The best river in my books!
