Last weekends catch

Last weekends catch

I took the young fella out for a fish last weekend for the first time for months. Yes Russ you’re not alone, Due to bad weather and work I had been missing out as well. We fished around the 25nm mark for few hours only to have nothing in the esky. The weather had settled so we headed out for some new ground. Pushed out into 120 mts and started fishing. Young Russell christened his new rod so he was a happy chap and not one but twice he pulled up double headers. All in all it was a good day on new ground. The wind blew up around 1400hrs so we headed in only to find it like glass from the last 25nm ride home.

Nice haul Garry. 120m's is a fair hike out of Mandurah.
Do you go out from the cut or from the marina?

Hope the hammer had been cleaned straight away otherwise it will taste like ammonia, cutting the fins off does nothing, the brown strip down the backbone after the gizzards are gone has to removed as quickly as possible

except for the whales heading north around the 60mt mark. Water temp 18deg if you look on the web you can see that warm water is running down right on the high 114/low 115 line. Garry
