Wade, possibly 2 yrs, I have an 1100lt tank, and have grown some crazy fish in there. Barra to at least 3 kg, biggest archers i've seen, Jardini's... whoo hoo!! maybe 4kg. Mangroves take forever to grow, but  are a great tank fish!!

Jay, maybe a 3.5kg fish, had a turn early one morning, so decided to "dispatch" him  quickly. You know the deal, hard when you have grown them up from nothing!!

Tank

Sat, 2010-08-07 00:58

I'll put a photo of the tank up tomorrow, it's really not all that interesting at the moment as there is nothing in there. I hold a cat 4 reptile license at present and had  a frilled neck lizard in the tank last. Fish are more interesting and I'm just considering what to put in it next.
My usual deckie is a glazier by trade and built my tank for me, it takes an hour to fill with a garden hose, lot of water to lose if you have a mishap!! It is made from 12mm glass.
