Great pic

Wed, 2007-07-25 08:31

That's what its all about!

Not bad for a first fish, its about 50 times bigger than my first fish.

Cheers

Broadbar?

Wed, 2007-07-25 08:55

Congratulations to the little fella Mitch.

Hard to tell from the pic but was it a little broadbar? Few spots on its tummy though, maybe a spotty.

Haha, you've got a true fisherman on your hands there Mitch.

Nice to get something a bit different for his first good fish, got the rest of his life to catch umpteen narrow bars.

heres the catch. my wife had such a good time on the boat [mates 5.9m trailcraft]. she wants me to buy a boat as big if not a bit bigger.as well as trick her up with her own rod and reel.well being a loyal hubbie how could i not .arhhh there is a god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
problem is she wants a pink boat and of course a loo on board .

Yes a porta loo is high on the wishlist for my next boat, particularly with a wife and two growing daughters. The bucket just doesn't cut it anymore.

Awesome

Not sure which one of you is more stoked. :)

As for you wife saying she wants a bigger boat, I'd take her up on that. I was a bit worried when you introduced me at Coral Bay and she said she wasn't sure if she wanted to shake my hand or punch me for the amount of time you spend on fishwrecked... I spose her theory is if you had a bigger boat you'd spend more time on that than on fishwrecked.. Life's full of tough choices.
