Yer adam we are allowed to spear trout. Over here between october and december they have 3 closures of the reef of approx 10 days, for fishing for coral fin fish (trout,emporers etc) and this weekend it was closed. We are allowed to spear crays over here. Quite lucky to see 2 barra cod.
