Kept for dinner tomorrow
Kept for dinner tomorrow night Danno. Personally dont rate them that much on plate but the inlaws like them so they'll be enjoying it. Does sound like a few have been landed lately... could be a good snapper season!

Cracker of a catch, can't
Cracker of a catch, can't wait to get the boat back, after getting a bit of work to it, to try and land a few aswell.
All this working keeps getting in the way of fishing!

Yeh mate thats right
You need some jig heads that has weight incorporated. But the story gets more complicated with various other rigs, mostly designed or invented in America, such as the Carolina and Texas rigs.
KISS principle -- get the jig heads, but get a lesson or get a basic plastic DVD to show how to rig them. It is not as simple as just shoving it on like bait. They need to be on straight, or they dont "swim" correct.
