Well, you pay top dollar for Kailis prawns and this is what you get. Mind you, this is only an endeavour, but the tigers I've got in the freezer aren't any better. How do you feel when your paying a shipload of money to find every prawn with their poo line roed up with green gooz. If you were a prawn trawling business, wouldn't taking prawns that are spawning be like shitting in your own nest? Less for next year and average product?? Just a warning to those wanting to buy Exxy prawns late in the season, save your $$ because removing poolines is one thing, but having to dissect each prawn to remove the roe, ain't fun!

just to let you know the Kailis prawn fisheries in exxy are not the same as the Kailis down in perth.i work for Kailis bros in perth and have checked this out while up in exxy. Adam you are spot on about the spawning prawns, wouldnt want to take them myself let alone mess around cleaning them as well

Havn't they finished , I thought it was a Kalis boat had it's superstructure ripped off as they all steamed down to perth a couple of weeks ago for maintenance.

These had been in the freezer for a while, mainly due to the fact I couldnt be bothered with the roe. Why I said, don't buy them Oct/Nov. That was a mate on that boat that got smashed.

the rubbish tip in Exxy a few years ago and came across a shit load of prawn boxes [hundreds of em ] with product of vietnam printed on them. I wonder if our friends up there are up to no good. You know ,a bit of box swapping maybe.

The ones Adam got where from exxy allright,we got lots of thoses for the last 2 months of the season tigers,endeavours and afue bananas we all roed up to the sh!@# house . i think we should have finished 2 months ago not only to stop that as well as we didnt make jack s@#$ for the last 2 months eighter
