Whats in the Capel river besides dirty water?

I am checking out the Capel (on Google earth)for when I move over & it looks pretty brown flowing into the ocean. I know the G E photos can be months old but the footy oval is as bare as lady Godiva so it must be summer? Anyone know wot muddy`s the river up & if the fish wear googles?

the river is just crappy :) ... you will find redfin near the highway ... bream at the mouth of the river and marron upsteam ... no idea if trout are in there .

Thanks a lot Feral, you could ave kept the reddies a secret! The bream ok, well as long as the river isnt polluted.
I fished the entrance to polluted Mordialluc creek once( port Philip bay), got a heap of good sized bream & wondered why nobody else bothered. Well I sure found out, they tasted like kero not even the cat could eat em.

Hurry up and get your Ass over here your gunna miss the Salmon run. The Capel river was possibly dirty due to heavy rain but during summer months its usually Green to clear at the mouth.

Hey Kev, youll need to go down & berley for me every day cause I wont be there for at least 6 months & the sooner we get a nice fishing couple into the place the quicker the 6 months starts! Its the decent minimal period to rent to anyone!

You need a boat and basically find a weed bed and lob your bait on the sand in front of the weed, if you dont get any move to another spot untill you find them. You'll get them anywhere between Peppy Grove and Busselton.

Not doing anything here except renovating, its driving me crazy thats why i need to live by the sea.It will only take 8 mins from capel & Ill be on the beach & casting Yippee! I`d rather be fishin`!!!
