Double header Tailor! And a new PB
Submitted by Twitch_11 on Fri, 2014-06-13 14:26Scored this sweet double header on a Halco Rooster popper on a recent trip north with mates. I had to look twice when a wave crested close to shore and I saw these 2 tailor head to head facing my lure! At first I thought there was a few following my hooked one and was about to shout to my mates to throw lures behind mine while I still had it hooked. Then another wave came through and I realised what was happening!
I couldn't help but burst out laughing when I beached them both and after losing a few good lures to windknots, I felt this was my turn of luck!
Also managed to absolutely smash my previous PB for tailor with an 84cm beast!
All in all was a great trip with some monsters caught! And everyone managing to smash their PBs.
Cheers to Buz for allowing me along on his trip and showing me some great spots!

Hi All,
Done a fair bit of research on here without ever signing up.....thought I better say hello and thanks for helping me out.
Caught a few fish since I've been over in WA but this Queenie tops the list so far....caught on the Eastern side on the trusty Halco popper.
Cheers,
Nick

Boat leans port (left)
Submitted by Josh on Mon, 2014-04-21 18:38I have been noticing that the boat (580 trailblazer, 115 merc 2 stroke) is hanging on the left hand side, not riding level. Could it be to do with the fact the small fin under the cavitation plate behind the prop is straight, not turned? If so how should it be turned. I think it might be due to the fact of that little fin is supposed to counteract the rotation of the propeller? But I am no marine expert, just chasing some advice.
Thanks.
