Went early to the usual area and pulled a few little dhus and pinks before this one took my placcy back into his cave. I gave him a moment to think about his future (bail arm open) and he obviously wanted to end up on my plate for lunch. First size dhu on a placcy for me, good fun on light gear. What a beautiful morning it was to be out on the water for dawn to reflect....

Decided to avoid the weekend crowds and towed the boat north for a day trip on saturday. Got onto some good fish on new ground. Highlight was the big fella of 19.2kg pictured. Plenty of nice dhues released and ended up with two pinks, two baldies and two dhues between 3 of us...

Hit Point Peron ramp at 5am yesterday was going doing final checks rods-check lots of lures-check plotter set for the fads -check but where's the deckie mmmmm after a couple of calls a very sheepish Khoa comes walking down to the ramp after a few clips around the ears we were on our way the conditions heading out were great nice flat seas.Upon arriving at the last fad there were dollies jumping everywhere and didnt take Khoa long to hook up on a lure.Since he was late he offered me the first fish which of course I declined as I would never take another persons fish especially since it was his first dolly that he had ever caught.we then switched to trolling baits and that really turned the fish on at one stage we had four rods going off at once and as always Khoa was in action getting gear out of the way and helping land my fish with the net while keeping control of his own rod.within 4 hours we had boated 18 dollies and kept 3 each for a feed it was a magic day but fish of the day went to me as I caught a bull didnt get a chance to take lots of pictures as was too busy catching fish.My little certate 2500 certainly got a good work out.Got a great little video but dont know how to upload it

The only downside for the day was the bunch of divers that hurled a bit of abuse our way when we drifted close to them and they didnt even have a dive flag up and when asked about their flag the reply was that it was on the floor of the boat fat lot of good that would do when somone runs a prop over their head.Knobs

Did also see a huge Mako shark out there that if hooked would have taken quite a few hours to land

 i got this yellow tailed kingfish trolling in 50 mts of water  not sure of the weight but had to be well ova 30 kilo

 got this of bunbury last week went 59 cm
