My first marlin, cropped from the other photo.  That is a remora stuck to its belly.  You may have seen this photo used in Richter lure advertisements, but with the remora photoshopped out.

New trout spot, excellent.  Nice trout for Tony first up this morning.

Probably the 2nd hardest trout I've had to spear, as you can see from this facial.

Managed to sneak an hour off for lunch and went for a quick dive, pretty happy with this 62cm trout as the first fish for the new year.

Went for a quick fish on Bundegi flats yesterday arvo after work, not much to report apart from lots of mullet and whiting. :(

Some solid reds for Exmouth

Me and the moe getting stretched on a 120kg black marlin, this was about an hour in.

Had a coupla days off, had to make the most of them

Nice out wide, crystal blue conditions, looked like a big blue day if we'd been deep.

Lets just say a big day on the water in Exmouth glass, summed up by two absolutely burnt thumbs, an aching back and a lesson on how to walk on water!  Story at a later junction, I'm off to bed cactused with cray diving tomorrow.

Exmouth crays, so many tarred up, GRRR, ahhh well, good for a coupla weeks time. :)

You can make the turtle out easy in the foreground (MONSTER TURTLE) and can see the size of the cobia in the background, when he chased down the skitter pop it was like a dog with a bone, one of the best takes I've seen, AWESOME, just spewing about getting busted off as he went straight back to the turtle. :(

What our fishery used to be worth back in the 70's for a 9 month license...

Coupla nice fish to top it off and left them biting as we had our bag limit.  Went for a quick troll and raised one marlin which was one of the best 'almost' takes I've ever seen.

Just a quick drop. ;)  Almost bagged out in 3 drops.
