1st flaty on a placcy

Down at left bank today flicking around a few bits of squid, plenty of blowies, couple of bream, then decided to try my luck on plastics. Chucked out a SnapBack paddle tail in white and the blowies destroyed it 1st cast. Then switched to a 5" atomic grub in a dark brown. Flicked that around for 15-20 mins then BANG! Not a monster, but a reasonable fight none the less. The feeling of catching something on a piece of rubbery plastic is awesome. I was so stoked I thanked the flatty by putting it back to fight another day. Seeing it swim off healthy was great. It's amazing how hard they smash them!
anyway, I'm stoked, and now hooked on plastics after trying many times with no success.

Congrats
Congrats on the flattie. No better feeling than catching a fish on a lure, especially casting. It's a buzz for sure.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
