You can run one as a sounder
You can run one as a sounder and the other as a GPS (without the sounder unit).... problem solved :)

i beg to differ
i run a lowrance hds and a furuno 585 both at the same time and both on 200 hz and have no interference! the transducers are place one slightly forward mounted throught the hull and a transom mount only 750 mm apart! never had a problem with interference

That's a great idea
Would be good to have 83/200 transducer going to one unit and a 50/200 going to a second unit and use the bigger screened unit as a gps also.

Run two and change
the setting to 'interference on', should delete the other echoes
