you can get a 2500 size daiwa

you can get a 2500 size daiwa or a 2500 size shimano and put on a 3000 spool, that way the overall size of the reel is still small but you have the extra line capacity

try hunting down shimano reel with c3000 model

the body is same as 2500 but running on deeper spool that why it is class as c3000

interchangeable spool with 2500 and c3000

if i am not wrong nasci or elf should have this model

But use a 2500 shimano firebood and a 2500r daiwa hyper certate. The fireblood handle is a little longer which i like and runs smoother than the daiwa as well as being lighter. For light jigging the hyper would probly be a tougher reel but id get the 3000 if i were you.

Depending on your budget any

Depending on your budget any of the higher end reels are good, keep in mind the Daiwas sizes are a little larger with their 1500's-2000's the same as shimanos 2500 and their 3000,s are about the same as the Shimano 4000's. With Shimano I'd start with the Saros and work my way up, the Symetres ok but no water proof drag, in the Daiwa line up maybe start at the Exceller DA, obviously the more you spend the sweeter it will be making sure you avoid finesse spools which are shallow. The Shimano Sephias/Stradic CI4's maybe a little light duty for jigging.
