46cm Black Bream
Submitted by Fisherman Mikey on Mon, 2012-05-14 15:31
Went fishing with the mum on saturday, at around 3PM. Got to the spot, set up my rod, baited up and within literally 15 seconds of my bait being in the water it was smashed. drag was going off!
Finally got it in and found it was a nice black bream, measured 46cm - new pb-- :)

Really solid bream - nice
Really solid bream - nice work. Fat bugger it is
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

PB
Congrats on the PB. 30 years old or more, great to hear it swam off. Top job.

Monster! Not in the river
Monster! Not in the river tho? Limestone rocks in background, was it at an ocean rockwall? Nice work, that fish dwarfs it's own tail its that big
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Got a bream chart at home
Got a bream chart at home that goes up to 38.75cm, and that say it 20 years , so 46cm at a guess maybe 28 years? There abouts
