4wd Bushings

took my 90series prado for a wheel alignment and was told all my bushes are stuffed,  (i'm not very mechanical, but seemed to be every bushing underneath but the front sway bar)

pedders are quoting around the $1000 mark.

any info on where I should go and if this is a reasonable price?

I have heard pedders suspension is not the greatest so would this be the same for there bushes too?

second and third opinion would put you in a better position to make a decision. It's dangerous to name and shame before you know what the real story is. Maybe they are right on the money?

fair call

Mon, 2012-05-28 16:49

fair call I'm asking because I dont know.

What I have heard is just peoples opinions from some forums I have read in the past.

I have no way of knowing whether they are true or not, and definately not trying to discredit pedders at all.

Just asking to get peoples experience and knowledge so I can make a more educated decision.

And perhaps some ideas of other good places  I can go to get quotes.

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

they only seem interested in high performance cars and wouldn't even look at my HJ60 but when i drive in there in the high performance Escort with all the adjustable suspension they come running out and i get a coffee made for me...

Just my thoughts

Only had one experience with Pedders

But they came in at half the price I was quoted to get my wifes Hyundai's front drive shafts replaced by John Hughes, and they did a good job.
