Tool,its about 350 long,rubber handle,flat end end about 25/30mm wide and tapered to form a edge with a slight bend like a Tyre lever,this tool allows you to get them off with minamul damage to the animal were as the screw driver or tools with less flat end,damage the shell or animal,I also have the min size engraved on the blade as a gauge.jersey

Best tool ever was one we found; piece of 15mm stainless steel strap 3mm thick with a slight bend and chamfer on one end and a hole in the other for a loop.

Gets the prize in my opinion,at least its not as likly to put a hole in your leg or gut if dumped by a wave and also wont damage the Abbs to much,I hope jersey

Actually a bunch people bought my brother's abalone knife down past Ocean Reef this morning. He makes a tool of laser-cut SS pry with a cut-out on it to show the size of the roei and the greenlips, one on each side of the handle and a handle for $10.
