Incidentally, the sharks are shocking even in the shallows this time.
Came back today, but the forecast 16-18 knots became 30 plus as we were about to leave at 9.
Spoke to a mate who has a crayboat and was heading back but it was the kids who couldnt be bothered waiting, "lets just go Dad, we've had worse before"
and most of the squalls had passed
So hammer down, a bit of surfing in the big swell and home 10 minutes later than we would have taken.

used to be able to fit all 5 in the cabin but the oldest is taller than me now and hasnt come for a while.

Kids are pretty resilient, probably more than most give credit for.
