I guess, depends on what your targetting i guess, should be enough for small sharks and probably wouldn't set the bait out very far..

Maybe just top shot it with some mono to fill it back up, if your only going to be fitting another 100m or so on there i probably wouldnt bother..

Oh and i forgot you might need to take a couple of big blokes to look after your car while your fishing

The jetty is in Coogee/Munster so I don't think that requires a Kwinana postcode

Yep southeasterly, probably swing around ESE at around 9-10:00...

Maybe hes just trying to put you off going there, don't forget to take any rubbish you take back home with you, not like the other kids that seem to haunt that jetty and give themselves a bad name...

Don't know mate, haven't heard much good about it to be honest, except for the occational capture from there..

Do hear alot of bad things though, never been myself, plenty of other spots to fish as i cant stand fishing less than 50m from anyone else!

Mon, 2013-04-29 16:30

Some people never seem to have any issue's, but..

The last time I tried to fish there I saw two kids on a scooter hiding in the bush, as soon as I was out of sight of the car park I could hear them riding off

went back to the car and there they were checking out the cars.

im always going down there i hear theres car break ins etc. ive never had a problem... dont leave anything valuable in your car and if your that worried dont lock it let them have a look and find nothing. as for the people down there. they get rowdy a bit but amongst themselves there only kids.

^ for those exact reasons I would never go there.

1) Fishing for me is quiet, relaxing and enjoyable. Dont need a bunch of rowdy idiots fishing 10 metres away from me, no thanks....

2) No chance I would park my car anywhere KNOWING that some dickhead will peer in through the window/break into my pride and joy to steal a couple of bucks to buy booze/drugs...

Not to mention all the rubbish you hear about. Oh and the mistreatment of sharks/fish/rays in general.

I would rather stay at home than put up with all that....

The jetty is alright and when

Thu, 2013-05-02 11:11

The jetty is alright and when the lights are off it deters quite a few people. I went with a mate who has a run down (but legal!) toyota hatchback and it doesn't seem to draw too much attention like a shiny brand new car would. We saw some dic* heads chopping sharks up which fu*ked up the moment but thats about it. Werent too many hooligans about
