Lazy Sundays

Sun, 2008-10-12 07:58

I'm looking out the back and the pool is a disgusting shade of green. My vegies I spend so much love planting have this sick look and virtually no leaves left. I haven't cleaned up the dog shit for a week.

Inside, I can hardly see the fish as the water is the same colour as the pool. My car is disgustingly filthy and my fishing gear (and the empty stubbies) are still in there from last week.

I may just lay on the lounge and watch Bathurst. Then again I could piss the missus off even more by turnung on the ABC radio and listen to the cricket.

Sighhhhhhhhh...........

Cheers, Vince

Hmmmm

Sun, 2008-10-12 14:39

Well just got back from Leeman yesterday, looks like its cleaning the car (ugh) washing the clothes,  put photos on the computer, hanging out for some chinese, so lunch time we are going to Spencer Village to pig out (been nearly 4 weeks) backyard looks like a jungle, can't see the dog when she goes out there (wonder if his lordship will get mower out?), then down to the club for drinkie poos with friends and talk the verbal diohrrea/gossip on what got away while in Leeman. But like Vince might just lay on the couch and also watch Bathurst, go FORD go, (hope all coke cans come last Holden) Innocent

I'm gonna sit around and watch the box cause it is blowing up here.

Still went fishing!

Sun, 2008-10-12 14:27

Mandurah Old Traffic Bridge, 2 kg bream gear, heaps of herring, and 8 or so legally sized salmon trout that gave me a good run thru the pylons! Also met Mike Roennfeldt who was in town for the boat show and having a morning stroll with his missus...took some shots of me and some ST's so maybe I'll be in his fishing columnCool.........or not!

Usual lazy day

Mon, 2008-10-13 08:23

Mowing the knee high Kikuyu in the bottom paddock before the Shire nails me. Started with the 21" cut new self propelled Toro mower - crapped itself yet again so finished it with the trusty Victa 18" push version - try that for 6000 square meters. In the afternoon i relaxed by driving up to Capel and helping my son remove the asbestoes lining in his kitchen and relining with Gyprock. Drove 40k's home - passing Fords and Commodores by the dozen and bludged for the rest of the day on the end of an axe.

Sunday was into work for 4

Mon, 2008-10-13 14:07

Sunday was into work for 4 hours O/T
Lunch was yum char

Then home to changing the exhaust on the motorbike,
fixing set of shelves and mirror to wall.
clean and load the slasher on the ute.
repair and clean up the old bbq
Move the hay to the paddock
cleaned up a new bike parking spot

And as I bought a tray of ultra sweet strawberries, spent the afternoon drinking rum and vodka daiquiris while working.
