Anti fouling
Submitted by dallasthedog on Fri, 2011-02-18 09:23
I have just purchased a 1994 710 Leeder. The hull needs to be cleaned and antifouled. I had a quote from FSC to lift the boat and clean it (no antifouling) for $400 but that seesm steep to me. Can enyone reccomend an antifouling company that I could use. The boat is penned in East Freo but can be trailered.
Thanks in advance

Why not keep it Trailered?
Why not keep it Trailered? Save the ongoing cost not to mention associated problems with anti foul?

I went halves with a mate and he wants to try the "pen" method. I'm hoping after 12 months he will see the light and we can trailer it.

That size boat $4 -5 grand in pen fees slipping and maintenance go the trailer mate and use the money to tow it north for a week or two still be dollars in front. $ 400 is a good price tin of coppercoat $ 174 lift and prep and apply you couldnt do it yourself for that. Enjoy the new boat mate try and get your mate to see sence bravo leg bellows and seals are bloody dear every 2 years.

Lift and clean
The $400 for the lift and clean is about the standard price that goes for all boats including crayboats of 50-65 foot.
