Mundaring wier Redfin

Went out there today to take some pics and spotted this big girl dead.
Spewin ya cant fish there bet there are a few more lurking around there.
Get an idea of the size of it, i was up the top of the walk way taking this pic

agreed they should let us
agreed they should let us fish their, even if its just lures ;). if they did let you fish their would you need a liscence?

Yep, a fresh water one. ironic that you can fish Jane brook in the national park but the weir is out of bounds. I know the crap they tell us about being a catchment area, but whats different from over east apart from a retarded water corp?. The Helena pumping dam used to hold good redfin, but would be very dry now i`d imagine.

helena dam is down from my place, about a 5 min drive and 10 min walk. never seen it so dry that it would be unfishable, but stinks pretty bad right about now. also ive seen a big fat coi in there that looks good on bream gear :)

I hope one day they open
I hope one day they open Mundarig Weir to the public. Lures only but cant see that happining anytime soon :(
