Need some advice.
The ole lady has spat it with the ducted evap and is thinking of going reverse cycle.
Need to know how much she can expect to save by just changing the head unit over
seeing as all the ducting is already in place.
Any recommendations for sales & installs north of the river?

Ford and Doonan
Brilliant service and offer a number of products however most reverse cycle are splits with an in roof unit linked into the duct work and an external ground or wall mounted split
I have a six horse Panasonic system (3 X 2) running as a master / slave servicing a large house (330 sq metres floor area) runs untra silent and is not that energy hungy as we run on low all the time when needed
Hope this assists

You cant just change the head. Evap units rely on high volume of air movement and have large diameter ducting.
A ducted unit will require all new ducting and the outlets will also need to be changed.
A cheaper option may be to install a wall split in the most urgent area. ie bedroom.
At least she will have somewhere to escape to on these humid days.
Evap coolers = swampy or water feature for your roof!
