Any contacts for small colorbond patio/skillion/shade thing?
Hi all
Just wanted to see if anyone had any contacts who might be able to help out with a shade/lean to/skillion/something to go over the top of a pizza oven base i've built.
I've attached some photos of whats going on for clarity, but basically I want to look at cutting out the second storey neighbour across the road and also give some weather protection to the pizza oven once its built. The base has been made with 150mm wide concrete blocks which have had every second (at least) core concrete filled and a 12mm reo bar put down the core to tie in to the 80mm slab on top. Which has also been reinforced. So I'd be happy to secure it to the base if thats an option but patio/steel design isnt my forte. I put my 4mx4m shed together but didnt actually have to design it.
Timing is probably terrible and the few mobs I have contacted either havent gotten back to me or have basically told me that they're booked and not interested.
I am contemplating giving it a crack myself but just lack a few of the design ideas/creativity to plan it out.
Any pointers or contacts would be appreciated!
Cheers
Steve

Neighbours
What are the neighbours like?
Remember you cant have a roof within 1m of the boundary unless theres a fire wall, parapet wall etc blah blah blah.
SO if the neighbours complain to the shire your stuffed, its why you see those gaps along the sides of car ports often with shade cloth infills.
I think shade cloth is OK? As its not solid.

If neighbours are ok it'll
If neighbours are ok it'll be as simple as an R code variation and neighbours sign off on your plans depending on the council in question.

Fortunately for me there is no Neighbour on that side. Other side of the fence is a lane way that only serves to give access to the driveway of the 2 storey house. I also think the Neighbour in that 2 story would welcome it as those windows are her master bedroom and she's paranoid of people looking in.
I also have a shed on one of the other fences which is hard on the boundary so city of swan has approved it before.
fingers crossed

Timber screen is an option.
Timber screen is an option. 100mm in from your fence line. A roof won't fix the privacy issue, unless it's really low.. Even then you'll be staring straight in the closer you get..
Skillion like you say, but smoke will linger and come back on you.
I built a timber screen 2700mm high 100mm in from my fence to block my neighbour, it's fkn orsm!! Gap of 900mm to my alfresco gutter.. Alfresco is also 2700mm to gutter line..
