any luck in todays southerly drift??
We did it tough today , but i guess it was expected.
Headed out from mindarie early , though problems with the fuses on the sounder held us up for 20 mins.
All the way out to d bank to a certain ledge , only to find someone sat over the exact spot. only boat in sight. Thats the second time thats happened now.
Got straight into a sambo and a 55cm dhu early. both returned.
Things went quiet then , so we headed out deeper to the 90's with the trolling gear out , but found no good looking spots , so headed back inwards.
Checking lots of old waypoints as we zig zagged back homeward.
Threw everything at them today , jigs , plastics , driftbaits , livebaits , bottom bounced even.
picked up a couple of smallish 45cm baldies , 4 or 5 more smallish dhueys but nothing quality. bait won today.
fantastic conditions though , 28 knots on the run in , and it cooled off a bit even.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

I had a quick fish before
I had a quick fish before work, so was out at 5. We caught fish early, probably till 830 or so, then very quiet as the wind swung more and more North. Finished with a Nice Blackarse, KG and Pinky, as well as a few crays.

was out there yesterday, esky full by 8.30am. all in 2 drifts!! and many lost fish!
Some good pinks out there,mwhich was a first for us out there, up over 8 kg's

same with us, coupla avg
same with us, coupla avg sambos and a small dhu is all we got
how busy was that ramp!! both launching and retrieving was a 20-30min wait.
didnt see any ramp rage tho which was real nice

a mate went out and he said it was a crap days fishing
to much current to fish any deeper than 40 metres and the sounder was dead!!! they are all hiding till i get home to slaughter them!! I HOPE!

We went out from woodies,
We went out from woodies, came back with 2 dhuys, caught about 8-9 total
couple little snappers, few sambos and a few big bust offs, all in all ended up being a good day on the water

Strong Southerly drift also out from woodies
But bagged out, two quality baldies (geeze there are a lot around) a nice dhuie and a good blackarse
Stopped in the sound for a crab fish but at midday didn't rate our chances but got one nice one

Went out with the boys
Went out with the boys (kids) for testing my mates boat, couldn't resist the fishing conditions, ended up fishing .... Got nice feed of whiting, kids were stocked, then went out to The bank, got couple dhuies, my son got one of them, a bronzie .... Overall, was a perfect day with the kids!! (dhuies were undersized though ;)

Nothing
went out at 5:30, fished all day with bait, plastics, jigs but only caught one small returned dhu. Went out to direction banks but couldnt find anything.
Did anyone else catch nothing??

Good day for me
We trolled out to direction bank, water is warmer inshore and 23 deg, unfortunately too much weed so we brought the lures in. I found a new ledge in the 40s and boated 2 dhuis 2 baldys and drppef some big ones. Biggest dhu went 7kg and biggest baldy was a nice 4kg. I wil post a report tomorrow, not bad for a 4.7m boat! And tested out my new BB outfit
