Any trauling success?

Hey guys
Anyone had any luck metro trauling for tuna, mackeral etc lately? Pretty keen to get into a bit when this wind decides to play the game.

hey kane was over at rotto the other day didn't do any trolling but there was alot of surface action happening pretty close to the island couldn't id the fish but heeps of bait fish jumping and birds divebombing. had a quick flik at em but no hook ups.

3 mile
Spent about an hour and half last weeking trolling along the 3 mile killing surface interval time between dives, no luck at all bait fish were everywhere we could see them just under the surface darting out of the way of the boat about 5 terns were havin a ball divebombing them but no rewards for us in terms of fish. water surface temp was reading 24.5 on the sounder

We trolled West End out to FAD's (inbetween sambo jigging etc) last week for 2 tiny bluefin... Both out deep.

1st post after a lot of reading, Great site by the way
Spent a bit of time trolling last Sunday out from Rocko
We only managed 1 Southern Blue. Water was pretty quiet bait wise, but have never seen so many flying fish around the 5

Seen a few smaller Southern Blues out there and had some bigger tuna crash the surface while we were bottom bouncing so a troll could well be worth the effort.

Will be out again Sunday should be some warmer water around the 50m line so will start around there wind permitting
