Make sure you try afew if the first doesnt produce. Weather looks ok though.

Be prepared to try a whole range of techniques for dollies if your failing to get them. For example, last season we were struggling to boat one, we had tried divers, skirts, stickbaits, and metals with no success until we switched to saltwater flys and landed many.

Anyways good luck

The 2 most important mates,

And, don't forget your 2 best mates, Rob and Allen!

Seriously frustrating when you've tried baits, skirts, lures, etc, and you can see them swimming right up to the boat!

We always throw in a speargun or 2 as a last resort, as 60+ nautical miles is a long way to go for no fish.

Out wide or in close...

Thanks for the tips - we seem to have all of the above covered except for the saltwater flys. My oldest is keen to try livies this time out (gardies & mullet at this stage). Interested in peoples experiences on strikes in relation to FAD.  Last time out lots of stripies around 50-100m. Big hookup around 350m, spooled around 150m and then lost it after 15 minutes of my impatience and f...ing around with the lever drag on new OH rig! :) In close doesnt seem the right thing to do based on my research? Fingers crossed and hope to post a pic or 2 Thursday.
