Submitted by dant on Thu, 2013-10-03 20:36
gday all,
looking at heading out saturday, but the weather is doing my head in, seabreeze looks shit forecasting 20 knot winds but bom is saying 10-15 knots, even 10 knots from two rocks.
wondering if anyone else thinking of going out, or have thoughts on saturdays forecast.
cheers dan

we went out from Mindarie
we went out from Mindarie 14mile NW, conditions were shitty, and fishing extremely difficult with a 2-3knt current. put in at 5 and out by 9. I don't think it blew over 15knts but combined with a decent swell it was just uncomfortable. lost my phone over the side and no luck on the fish either! should have stayed in bed

Went to Blackwall last night
Went to Blackwall last night but it was quiet on the fish front
Wind completely died at sundown so headed out of the mouth around the north mole to keep it close to shore but even without the wind the swell with it's short frequency made it really uncomfortable and didn't stay too long
