Anyone using surf brand polarised glasses?

Hey guys summer is coming up and finally I'm going to look into getting some glasses. I wanted your opinions on the surf brand style of polarised glasses as alot of the fishing specific makes stick to the same rounded frame style, from what I've seen anyway, and they just dont suit my oversized balinese mug. Im looking for a much more "squarer" style frame if that makes sense. If anyone can reccomend some from the Fishing Specific brands that would be great too.

Cheers

I got some Otis Polarized

I got some Otis Polarized too, like them better than any of my fishing sunnies but the glass lense makes them heavy and easier to fall off your face into the drink!

Arnette's by a mile. On my 4

Sat, 2012-09-01 07:03

Arnette's by a mile. On my 4 pair over 8 years and recommend them highly. Tried Spotters, Maui Jims, Serengetti's, and various other boating/fishing brands and I find them brilliant.

Sun Glasses

Sat, 2012-09-01 09:58

Serengeti Sunglasses, come in all types, the Maestrale glasses are so light you dont even know yuv got them on."Tip" I use to keep them from falling into the water ,get a length of cord (boat shop has it ) two small peices of electrical shrink ,a large syringe ,"sicoflex" (Marvelis stuff that) Put the shrink on the arm of the sunnys put the cord through the shrink Siko into the syringe ,put small amount of siko into shrink and gently shrink cord onto the arm of the sunnys, here endith the lesson.

Why do you

Sat, 2012-09-01 17:20

fellas go for expensive brand name polorised sunglasses, is it the style or the brand you are after.  I buy the Lions Eye institute polorised sunglasses that give me total cover for my eyes, which includes the sides and the top of the sunnies.  Fantastic and also they make them for people that wear glasses, think I paid just over $70.  Polorised to Australian standards.  Why waste your money on brand names some over $200 when you have excellend Lions Eye Institue ones freely available. JMHO fellas.  I've bought expensive polorised as well, can tell you the LI ones are far better for taking the glare off the ocean and seeing fish in the water.
