an appetite wetter -salmon season

With all sherbs talk and pics of landbased mackies ( Allright for some king sherbs haha), thought I would bring the tone down, to real working mens and womans fish.
This one is from last years run at cheynes area, Albany.
We lucked out as fat hungry salmon hit a school of large blue baits they had herded into the gutter in front of us. As we were pulling them in they were disgorging the baits , which we were putting on hooks to catch the next one, It dont get any better, and we were hooting and hollering like kids in a candy store, as they charged into the gutter like mini black torpedos, with silver showers of baitfish exploding all around.
Its Autumm , and the south coast is calling!

Had a few sessions like that on the south coast years ago ya have a ball when they're that thick and hungry. Hoping they make their way up in a month or so
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Yeah for guy that reacons he is too busy to go fishing , and needs to spend more time with the family
he seems to turn up quite often , clutching some big fish!
Hate to see what he would get if he really tried.
