Are Trailcraft still operating??

Hi guys,

Just hearing mixed stories about Trailcraft being bought out and then totally shut down by Quintrex or that it is still operating.

Does anyone know what the latest is???

 Cheers,

Scott

lead to believe that they've sold a lot of assets off to get some $ in the bank to clear debt and at the same time have dramatically downsized... But still going.

apparently they went into administration last year... all the boats at saltwater marine and challenge are old stock....

would be good if they could open again though it appears they got too big and tried expanding into areas such as caravans which didn't work out...

My best mates and my cousins boat are trailcrafts all from saltwater marine all had troubles. After sales service was a joke and all orders were not what was asked for.  All happy with the boats now though no thanks to the arse holes at saltwater marine.

trailcraft

I purchased two trail crafts boats all okay from saltwalter, the second had alot of issues with the motors and setup , maybe just buy your basic rig from them and fit out motor yourself,  Trailcraft have been bought out buy another company and they have to sort out the previous debts before starting production again

Trailcraft = Exclusive to Saltwater Marine in Perth

Mon, 2010-01-18 22:59

Thats the word on the streets today. And you can place orders for new ones, so the tools for production are in motion somewhere in Perth.

I have heard

Tue, 2010-01-19 08:11

that Saltwater marine was owned by Trailcraft.

The rumours are true Saltwater are shite to deal with, my mate bought a boat from them (Trailcraft660) and from day one he has had nothing but dramas with the setup, he got it serviced and took it out the boat started to have  fuel issues popped the cover, o'shit someone forgot to change the filters? Looked a bit deeper and guess what charged for service but did not get one, his never been back.

Tip don't pay them all the cash or you'll get screwed around on delivery time.
