This bad weather is costing me heaps......

Bloody bad weather means too much free time to do stuff on the boat. Added a 16 inch screen for heads up whilst driving standing up.

How do you rate the Kogan

Sat, 2016-05-28 20:55

How do you rate the Kogan gear John? I've been looking at their range and have heard good things quality wise, but I guess proof is in the use.

Kogan

Sat, 2016-05-28 22:39

I have a Kogan TV on my boat, actually as a TV
Plus a couple in my house for the kids.

While they are cheap the processors in them are very slow.
With my old Bravia you push the channel button 4 times it changes 4 channels but the Kogan you have to wait til each channel is loaded up before pressing again.

Sounds like nothing but its annoying when flicking thru.
Some of the Kogan TV's are actually computer monitors, which are not 16:9, but 16:10.

Haha . . .  You'll have one mounted flat on the hardtop soon . . . .just so you can watch what swims under your boat when you're having an afternoon nap !

Replace the front windscreens with video and flir displays so you don't even have to use your eyeballs

Are they a 12v screen or are you running an inverter?
