Hawks and a Holden supporter, unlucky! lol. The bad run is going to continue mate, Ford has it wrapped up this year! I went a few years ago, was unreal. My Aunty and Uncle would rent their house out in Bathurst to the Pirtek team each year and I was given the merchandise they left behind.

I'm predicting it won't be a FPR or a 888 car that wins it this year. GRM or Stone Bros to throw a cat amongst the pigeons. Also NEVER count out HRT or a blinder from Greg Murphy, i think i've watched that 2003 lap about 10 times this week it's still one of the greatest moments i have witnessed in motor racing.

FPR, although havin a standout year concentrate too much on qualifing, frosty is a gun tho, 888 are an elite team with two gun drivers (and maybe stoner next year), are always up the front. Although being a HDT/HRT fan, Iv been a Lowndes fan and aswell as any V8 fan hope he can top the list for the championship and if Whingecup has missfortune like a fuct alternator again this event could really boost his chances. Tander is a proven performer too and dont write off Brighty hes a gun on the moutain and he and BJR pop up from time to time, who knows, if hes in the mix with 30 laps to go....anyone race, thats the beauty of it, fuel stradegy, pacey cars that looks after tyres, safety cars, then theres the weather...guna be awesome, and some of the paint scemes are awrsome for the 50 year annaversary, guna be some hungry drivers. Brocks win in the A9X in 79 is the best moment, wish my hatch was an A9X sometimes...

Was just watching the touring car masters at bathurst. Now that is how bathurst should be all the old classics running around not these holden/ford clone cars they have now.

Bring back the big bangers !!!

Sat, 2012-10-06 12:59

Racing old cars fuksem, glad u dont see too many torries and munros, gota preserve the old girls good to see shitfull falcons and mustangs getn beat up lol. It was heart break in 2010 to see a stalled car on the line cause several classic cars to have major damage, not a good thing. Although I do fantasize about having big horsepower modern race running gear in an oldly just for the odd lap around now and then. I love seein the old post Group A touring cars race, id love an old perkins VS to pull out for a quick lap

Sun, 2012-10-07 14:12

Wot a finish once again! A credit to the sport, I critisize the safety car and being able to pit whilst under it but without it there wouldnt be those sort of finishes. Once again Lowndesy/Luff stuffed with stacking even when taken out of phase early, still an awesome effort by The Kid, what if...awesome efforts to the rest of the top ten, Reynolds/Canto with one extra stop, Courtney/McConville from way back, I reckon Tander would have factored if bloody Percat didnt crash, hows the top 10, Love this sport, HOLDEN PREVAILS AGAIN! Spewin my live telemetry died at lap 127, didnt see Lowndes coming from that far back! Wincup vs Holden vs Ford, he is the top gun!

Realistically it aint codes anymore, its teams and drivers, 888 dominant with a Ford or Holden badge, but the die hard rivalry will live on, guna be a major transition next year on so many levels

notice who got the biggest cheer, Lowndsey of course.

Whinge-cup just do it for me, too serious n sour, but can't take it away from him the prick can drive.

Next year will be interesting that's for sure.
