Has anyone fished (Land Based) the Onslow ara and is it possible to get to the other side of Beadon Creek in a 4x4.
Thinking of doing a trip up there n a couple of months.
Any info or advice would be appreciated

Yes & No
Yes I have fished the Onslow area, landbased.
No it is not possible to get onto the eastern side of Beadon Creek, unless you work for the salt mine.It is all gated and access is across limestone break walls.

hit up the Ashburton River to
hit up the Ashburton River to the south for landbased. Big John might be able to shed some more light on Onslow landbased, it's very shallow around the coast so keep this in mind.
i'd expect you to find plenty of queenies on poppers and metal slices, jacks, bream and flag around the rocks and maybe a threadie or two in the shallows
