Finally have the boat to tackle the Dampier Archipelago, but would like some information on the best insurance company for boats specifically.

Club Marine are good, I've been with them for 20 years, they are very ease to deal with.

Hey another point is that you can nominate a voluntary sea rescue outfit as your broker with club marine, and that gets them a cut.

Just set it up with Club marine and it was a breaze. Up here we dont have a formal VSR but all the same thanks for the info.

Club marine was twice the price of CGU..$460, I was quoted from club marine. $230.00 from CGU...IMO Club Marine are like RACV people just think its better.My car insurance is $300 more through RACV than AAMI with no probs with claims..but each to there own..

why pay more for no extra serive? certainly not for the mag they send you.....

We've owned many boats and yachts in my time. Been through most of the companies.

I now have a policy with Nautilus Marine, its cheap and covers everything I really need.

Plus they offer 50k personal accident cover, which is more than the other companies.
