Enjoys the trip........

All my tackles and fishing stuffs packed into my car.

In order to catch the first light...... I left my house at 1.30am.

Stopover at this 24HR Mac Donald for a fast breakfast before I continue my journey.. ;)

Topup my gas at the gas station.. ;)

As usual , I brought along my Daiwa Ryoga and Zillion setups.

I won't be using my Ryoga as it abit overkills for sebarau.My closest will be my Daiwa Zillion in which I can cast very far........ ;)

I would suggest PE 1-2(power pro) for lure fishing with super llight tackle. It will be shiok when the sebarau fish take your topwater lure.Zzzzzzzzzzzz non stop... haha !! ;)

The beautiful scenery...

In the wee morning, we'll be casting and luring around those what we called the small islands. Before the first lights, that when the sebarau will be resting and hidding just beneath the seasweeds.

At time, we need to beach the boat on the small island and cast from inland. :)

Fishing at knee level is very common when come to wild fishing. ;)

 sounds like a great place to fish. well done on the haul. are they an edible fish or just for sport

All catches regardless big or small are been released back to the water.... ;)

Seeing the freshwater photos you are putting up is making me home sick for some freshwater action!  My favs were Aruan, Toman, Kelisa, Sebarau and Kelah when I lived in that part of the world. Have you ever fished Taman Negara, Tasik Temenggor and Kenyir?  Back then it took 8 days of travelling upsream in sampans often having to carry the boat over the shallows to the next body of water, to get to the fishing grounds, now I understand you can drive up to the water's edge.

Finally something of a decent size - 1.52KG sebarau.
The 'take' was so loud and strong. Initially I though a toman whacked my lure instead of sebarau . haha !!
