Best time of year for Quobba?

Gday guys, planning a trip next year down to Quobba and hope to do some ballooning for mackeral etc Whats the best months to go? And can you still spin and bottom bash off the rocks at the same time or is it a bit of a tradeoff with swell/offshore winds? Any experiences?
Cheers

Last coupla months
June was good last year when I was working in that area. This year when I was there in June it was magic, just passing through for work, but light ballooning conditions with plenty of spaniards being caught. Nice size too.

Just got back from Gnaraloo and Quobba where favourable easterlies in the morning and near glass off's in the afternoon would have seen some great fishing for the keen landbasers. Driving down on Sunday and back today saw balloon's just hovering off the coast with football fields of tuna busting up the surface out from the wall, whistlers, fencelines. Didn't see a hell of a lot of action at Garths but 2 guys were setting up and things looked fishy. Boaties did well best red being 10kg gutted as a double with another 4kg red being highlight. Plenty of fish about thats for sure!
Cheers,
Adam

Cheers Adam, I was thinking
Cheers Adam, I was thinking round May/June...., trying to pick a time before the swell picks up bigtime and cancels out all the lower spots for spinning and bait fishing as well. Thanks for the quick reply.
