As you've probably seen, I'm 'rationalizing' my tackle hoard and would like your advice on the best way to ship/freight/mail fishing rods (particularly awkward 1 piece 7 footers).
looking for some good ideas on the best/most cost effective/safest way to do it.
cheers

Cardboard tubes
Bought a number of rods over the net and all have arrived without a mark on them in the cardboard tubes available in the post office. Some have been 8 footers with no problems.

Technically aus post won't
Technically aus post won't take anything longer than 1.05m, but sometimes you get lucky. The other choice is courier.
