Black Bream Swan and Canning River

Hi guys my biggest swan/canning river bream to date is only 38cm and I am looking at catching my first 40cm as I know they can get to 50 in the river. However, I need some tips to catch them, so what is the best bait as I think this gets u bigger ones, what is the best rig, what is the best time of day, best tides, best time of year for big ones and where is your favourite spots. there is plenty of info out there and do what the rest of us have done over the years and thats trial and error.
